Account Specialist

BluePrint is on the search for a talented Account Specialist with 1-3 years of agency experience to join our growing account team. If you’re a self-starting, opportunistic account leader, we want to learn more about you. Our ideal candidate will have proven success building relationships within client organizations, experience in content strategy, project management, and vendor relationships.

Account Specialists ingrain themselves into their clients’ business, products, services, and verticals. You will be responsible for understanding your clients’ brand, digital, and content marketing challenges; identifying solutions, and seeking new initiatives and projects. You are a client’s day-to-day contact — fielding and acting on requests, collecting feedback and approval, documenting, and guiding the Agency’s work from start to finish. The Account Specialist will be tasked with creating social content, keeping vendors on schedule, and acting as the client’s internal advocate. It is your mission to provide clients with a top-notch BluePrint experience. A strong alignment with and proven demonstration of BluePrint’s core values is essential to be on our team.

JOB REQUIREMENTS: 
  • Manage client expectations
  • Collect information on client-initiated requests and help formulate solutions
  • Guide the entire project from discovery to final delivery
  • Guide the client’s social media strategy, presence, and content
  • Increase Agency business within existing accounts
  • Assist in the development of client presentations
  • Take an active role in presenting strategic thinking to clients regularly
  • Be the reliable, tech-savvy partner clients depend on
  • Write creative briefs and present them to clients and the Agency team
  • Continuously develop your skill sets; attend professional development courses and seminars to gain insights and share with the team; participate in professional organizations; and keep up to date with industry trends and standards, always implementing next level trends into client work
 
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS: 
  • BA/BS degree in marketing, advertising, communications, public relations, business, or a related field, or the equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience in a digital agency and/or marketing agency environment managing multiple clients and projects; internal marketing experience considered
  • Experience with online media, social media, and email marketing
  • Strong writing and proofreading skills
  • Basic familiarity with components of a website
  • Familiarity with technologies including content management systems, social media, and Google Analytics
 
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: 
  • This is a full-time position reporting to the Vice President
  • Periodic travel is expected for this position
  • The Account Specialist career path within the Agency typically progresses to Account Manager
